Responding to Fears about Dioxin Pollution

Natracare organic cotton tampons and organic and natural pads were produced as a direct response to health and environmental worries over dioxin pollution from chlorine bleaching, the widespread use of pesticides on conventionally grown cotton, and the use of rayon and other synthetics in feminine hygiene.

Disposal:
Natracare advises that you wrap the pad in paper and put into a waste bin. Naturacare pads are over 90% biodegradable and are compostable under the correct conditions.
