Each capsule of Mg-Orotate 500 from Biotics Research supplies 500mg of magnesium as Magnesium Orotate. Orotic acid and its salts have been demonstrated to significantly improve cardiac function in settings associated with ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury. Additionally, when administered at the onset of reperfusion following ischemia in animals, it was noted to significantly preserve left ventricle (LV) function, and also reduced infarct size.
