Lutein to Support Eye Health

Lutein from Allergy Research Group is intended to support the health of the eyes.

Lutein is a vitamin related to vitamin A that may help to improve eye health. Lutein and zeaxanthin (also contained in this supplement) combine to make up a certain pigment in the retina. These substances may help keep the eye safe from a certain harmful portion of sunlight called blue light.

Ingesting proper amounts of lutein may further help to promote eye health by supporting a reduced risk of macular degeneration due to age as well as a reduced risk of developing cataracts.

Lutein may also help to support cardiovascular health specifically by promoting the health of the carotid artery.

Acting as an antioxidant, lutein may also help to promote the health of the skin.

This supplement also contains the antioxidant vitamin E, which may also help to promote the health of the skin and eyes.

Recommended Use for Lutein

As a dietary supplement, adults may take 1 softgel per day with a meal. Consult with a healthcare professional before taking.
