Adrenal fatigue is a group of symptoms related to the stress response system, otherwise known as the HPA (hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal) axis. Prolonged stress and anxiety will overwork the adrenal glands, leading to adrenal gland ‘burnout’ and poor tissue response to cortisol. Warnings
